Gabi extends Atletico contract

Atletico Madrid captain Gabi has extended his contract, keeping him committed to the Vicente Calderon until 2017.

The midfielder was an influential member of a team that collected a first La Liga title since 1996 last season, as Atletico broke the domestic dominance of Barcelona and city rivals Real Madrid.

Gabi was also part of a side that reached the final of the UEFA Champions League, but ultimately suffered an agonising extra-time defeat to Real.

The 30-year-old was thrilled to be extending his stay at Vicente Calderon, and is itching to continue making history in the Spanish capital.

I had been looking forward to this renewal, he told the club s official website.

This is another dream in my life and now I hope to continue to help the team a…

Rodrigo Palacio has signed a new contract to keep him at Inter until the end of the 2016-17 season.

Mane confident Liverpool can win trophies under Klopp

Sadio Mane believes Liverpool are ready to win a first trophy under Jurgen Klopp after committing his future to the club with a new long-term contract.

The former Southampton forward has hit six Premier League goals already this term, firing Liverpool to second in the table, behind last season s champions Manchester City.

Liverpool reached the final of the Champions League under Klopp in May but were beaten by Real Madrid, the German also overseeing losses to City and Sevilla in the EFL Cup and Europa League finals of 2016.

But Mane, who hit 20 goals in all competitions in 2017-18, feels the time is now right for Liverpool s wait for…

Despite getting just a 1-1 draw against Norwich on Saturday, they are still sitting pretty in second place in the Premier League standings and by the looks of their recent form, they are eager to stay in the top four, or at least fight for the Champions League qualification.

But for that they would need reinforcements and now the Foxes could be on the move. According to the Sunday Mirror, Leicester are looking likely to add a new player to their attacking options in this January transfer window. That player is Jarrod Bowen, the highly rated forward from Hull City, who has already bagged 15 goals in the Championship so far this season.

Reportedly, Leicester are in pole position to land him and the 22-year-old could cost them …

Jeremy Renner Dropped Out Of Mission- Impossible Series For A Very Wholesome Reason

Oscar-nominated actor Jeremy Renner played William Brandt in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the actor was supposed to make more Mission: Impossible films. So what happened?

Speaking to Collider, said he “had to leave” the franchise, and for a very wholesome reason. Renner said making a big film like a new entry in the Mission: Impossible series requires a lot of travel and time away. Renner, who welcomed his first child in 2013, prioritized his family and spending time with family instead of rushing back to make another Mission: Impossible film at the time.

“I was supposed to do more with them. I love those guys. I love Tom [Cruise] so much. We had so much fun, and I love that character a lot. It requires a lot of time away. It’s all in London. I had to go be a dad.…
