data-mm-id=”_ijg2amy6r”>The Dallas Cowboys went to Buffalo to take on the Bills on Sunday afternoon. Both teams are coming off big wins against their rivals so expectations were quite high heading into the game. It seems the adrenaline was pumping pretty hard, too, because it took less than a quarter for the two teams to get into a fight. After the Bills marched down the field to open the game with a touchdown run, Dak Prescott took over for the Cowboys in an attempt to do the same. On a third down near midfield Prescott tucked and ran the ball to gain the first down. As he slid to end the play, though, Bills safety Taylor Rapp came flying in and caught Prescott in the head. This did not please the Cowboys, and especially not offensive lineman Zach Martin. He came charging in and belly-bumped the offending Buffalo player to the ground, causing a fight to break out. Taylor Rapp committed an unnecessary roughness for a hit on Dak Prescott. But Zach Martin comes to hit Rapp, which made for another unnecessary roughness… and a scrum between the two teams. It's a testy game so far. #Bills #Cowboys pic.twitter.com/oRuHweDeHC— Henry McKenna (@henrycmckenna) December 17, 2023Zack Martin gave Taylor Rapp a face full, I love this protecting his guy Dak Prescott! #DallasCowboys pic.twitter.com/JjhjOcLfE8— Kevin Gray Jr. (@KevinGraySports) December 17, 2023Dak Prescott scrambles for a first down, slides and gets hit on the slide by Bills safety Taylor Rapp. Cowboys RG Zack Martin took umbrage with that real quick, and came in to wipe out Rapp in a hurry. pic.twitter.com/FHY73AM8YF— Mike Leslie (@MikeLeslieWFAA) December 17, 2023Fortunately for everybody involved the contact on Prescott ended up being fairly marginal because if Rapp had connected on a full-speed diving tackle to the opposing quarterback's head, this would have been a much bigger fight. Ultimately Martin's enforcement cost his team. Instead of getting a free 15 yards tacked onto the end of the run, he got flagged for hitting Rapp and the penalties offset. The Cowboys would then fail to advance the ball any further and punt. The NFL might issue some fines after this.Still, if this is what the first quarter is looking like, the rest of the game promises to be spicy indeed.

´The only guilty party´ – Inter seethe as appeal fails against Lukaku red card for shushing racist f
Inter reacted with dismay and great sorrow on Friday as the Italian FA refused to overturn the red card shown to Romelu Lukaku when he stood up to racist abuse against Juventus.
The Belgian striker converted a penalty in the fifth minute of stoppage time to earn Inter a 1-1 draw in the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg on April 4 at the Allianz Stadium.
He then used his finger to shush the home fans vitriol and that reaction was deemed a bookable offence by referee Davide Massa.
Lukaku had already been booked for a foul in the 80th minute, so the second yellow card saw him dismissed.
The Inter frontman called for action from Serie A officials after being targeted for abuse, while team-mate Edin Dzeko described the treatment from the Juventus fans as somet…

Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic claims he did not feel wanted by coach Roberto Mancini at Inter.
Croatia international Kovacic moved from Inter to Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in August, having only joined Inter in January 2013.
Mancini returned for his second spell as Inter coach in November last year but, despite being one of the star performers at the San Siro, Kovacic told Sportske Novosti that his relationship with the former Manchester City boss was distant.
I am not sure, did Mancini want me in Inter or not? he said.
We had no relationship; not good, not bad. I don t know what he thought and in the end I was glad to leave because I don t know what would have happened to me.

Joe Hart has acknowledged he may need to leave Manchester City permanently to resurrect his career.
Hart has recently had loan spells at Torino and West Ham, but was unable to force his way into Gareth Southgate s 23-man-squad for the World Cup in Russia.
The 31-year-old made his first appearance for City since 2016 in a pre-season friendly defeat to Borussia Dortmund, but says he wants to go to a club where he is the number one goalkeeper.

Sporting Kansas City treated their home fans to an impressive 4-1 upset win against Minnesota United on Saturday, with William Agada netting a brace on his birthday.
Against the Western Conference s fourth-placed side in Minnesota, 12th-placed Sporting closed the first half in style, with three goals in the space of 15 minutes.

Johnny Russell then hit the post in the 41st minute, but was able to track down the rebound and dish one off for Erik Thommy in the box, who sidestepped a challenge before firing home Sporting s second goal.
